Beaming memo
You can beam a page or a notebook stored on your CLIÉ(TM) handheld to another CLIÉ(TM) handheld.
Beaming a page

Display the page you want to send on the Edit form screen.

tap the Menu , Pages, then Beam Page.
Beaming a notebook

On the View form screen, select a notebook that you want to beam.

tap Menu , Notes, then Beam Note.
Notes
• You can only beam one page or notebook at a time.
• You can only beam a page or notebook to a CLIÉ(TM) handheld with the CLIE Memo application installed.
Sending memo using Bluetooth(TM)
You can send a page or a notebook stored on your CLIÉ(TM) handheld to another CLIÉ(TM) handheld using Bluetooth(TM).
Notes
•
This function is available only on models with built-in Bluetooth(TM) functionality.
•
Have the receiving and sending CLIÉ(TM) handhelds ready for a Bluetooth(TM) communication.
Make sure you have the Bluetooth(TM) function enabled on the Preferences screen.
Refer to the Handbook supplied with your CLIÉ(TM) handheld for details.
Sending a page

Display the page you want to send on the Edit form screen.

Tap Menu , Pages, then Send Page.
The Send With dialog box appears.

Tap Bluetooth(TM), then tap OK.
Your CLIÉ(TM) handheld starts searching for a Bluetooth(TM) device.
The Discovery Results screen appears.

Tap the check box and select a device to connect to, then tap OK.
The selected page is sent to the connected Bluetooth(TM) device.
Sending a notebook

On the View form screen, select a notebook that you want to beam.

tap the Menu , Notes, then Send Note.
The Send With dialog box appears.

Tap Bluetooth(TM), and tap OK.
Your CLIÉ(TM) handheld starts searching for a Bluetooth(TM) device.
The Discovery Results screen appears.

Tap the check box and select a device to connect to, then tap OK.
The selected notebook is sent to the connected Bluetooth(TM) device.
Notes
• You can only send one page or notebook at a time.
• You can only send a page or notebook to a CLIÉ(TM) handheld with the CLIE Memo application installed.
•
You cannot send files from the CLIE Memo application using SMS, although SMS appears on the Send With dialog box.
Moving a notebook to the “Memory Stick(TM)” media
You can save a selected note to the “Memory Stick(TM)” media. See “About files stored on “Memory Stick(TM)” media” for the location of the folder to which the selected notebook is stored.

On the View form screen, tap and select a notebook that you want to move.

tap the Menu , Notes, then Move to MS.
Move Note dialog box appears.

Tap OK.
The note is transferred to a folder in the “Memory Stick(TM)” media.
Note
You can only move one notebook at a time.
Moving a notebook from a “Memory Stick(TM)” media to your CLIÉ(TM) handheld

On the View form screen, tap Menu , Notes, then Move to Handheld.
The list of notebooks in the “Memory Stick(TM)” media appears on Move to Handheld screen.

Select the desired notebook and tap MOVE.
Move Note dialog box appears.

Tap OK.
The note is transferred to your CLIÉ(TM) handheld.

Tap Return to go back to the View form screen.
Or, press the BACK button.
