Changing the settings for Date Book
Specifying the holiday
You can specify the holiday. If you register the name of the holiday, you can view on the Date Book screen.

On Date Book, tap , Day, then Holiday.
The Holiday dialog box is displayed.

Specify the settings for the holiday.
•  Year: Tap to select the year that you specify.
•  Show Holiday: Tap the check box to display the holidays on the Date screen.
•  Holiday Color: Specifies the holiday color.
•  Holiday list: Lists the holidays that you specified.
•  Add: Adds the new holiday to the Holiday list.
•  Edit: Changes the holiday in the Holiday list.
•  Delete: Deletes the holiday in the Holiday list.
Tip
You can easily set the holiday by using the existing holiday information.
On the Holiday dialog box, tap to the right of Year to select the year when you want to specify the holiday and tap , then Holiday Data.
Select either of the following:
•  Registration: Displays the Registration dialog box if you have registered a holiday.
Tap to select the holiday information and then tap OK.
•  Reference: Displays the Reference dialog box. You can use the existing holiday information to specify the new holiday.
Tap to select the year and then tap OK.

Tap Add.
The Edit dialog box is displayed.

Enter the date and holiday name.
Note
You can only specify one holiday in the day. For example, you can not specify another holiday on January 1 if you specify New Year's day in January 1.

Tap OK.
The Holiday dialog box is displayed again.

Specify the color for the special day
You can specify the color for the special day, for example your birthday.

On Date Book, tap , Day, then Day Color.
The Day Color dialog box is displayed.

Specify the day for applying the color.

Tap the color box to specify the color.

Tap OK.
Specifying the color for the day of the week
You can specify the color for the day of the week. For example, you can apply the color on Sunday for your special day.

On Date Book, tap , Day, then Week Color.
The Week Color dialog box is displayed.


Tip
Tap Default and OK to return to the factory settings.

Tap the day of the week and then tap the color.

Tap OK.
Tip
If you specify the same color for the holiday, date, and day of the week, the date has the highest priority for the color, followed by the holiday and then the day of the week.
Changing the start day of the week

On Date Book, tap , Options, then Preferences.
The Preferences dialog box is displayed.

Tap to the right of Week Starts to select the start day.
If you select Prefs, the setting for the Preference format is applied to the start day.

Tap OK.
